What is full mouth reconstruction?

Full mouth reconstruction, or full mouth restoration, involves  restoring, rebuilding, or replacing all or most of the teeth in the  upper and lower jaws.

What does full mouth reconstruction involve?

Placement of dental restorations like dental crowns, veneers, fillings, inlays, onlays, dental bridges, dentures, or dental implants.

Orthodontics

Root canal therapy

Dental extractions

Deep cleanings

Crown lengthening

Corrective jaw surgery

Gum tissue recontouring

Bone or soft tissue grafting

Treatment of temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorder

Is a full mouth reconstruction like a smile makeover?

A full mouth reconstruction and a smile makeover are performed for different reasons. Full mouth reconstruction is required to restore optimal oral functions  and health, while a smile makeover is performed to improve the  appearance of your teeth and smile.

How long does full mouth reconstruction take?

Full mouth reconstruction can take up to a year or longer. The timeline  depends on the specific treatments and procedures included.

Does full mouth reconstruction hurt?

No, you will not be in pain at any point during treatment. Dr. Hamidi  and the staff will administer sedatives to make your appointments  comfortable and relaxing. Sedation dentistry also leaves you with little  to no recollection of the treatment.

Here's what our patients say about us

I’ve been coming here for a couple of years and have always received timely, thorough, and kind care that has really quelled my anxiety about going to the dentist. Dr. Dalvi and the hygienists and other staff at the office are always so good at explaining what needs to be done (or has been done) and why.
